Delete your account
This is how to delete your account in Handle, the crew job photo app by Qualityc Labs (Lukasz Fryc on the App Store). It works for everyone: owners who sign in with their email and a code, and crew who joined from an invite and never gave us an email.
In the app
- Open Handle and tap your face at the bottom right.
- Tap the settings button at the top right.
- Tap Delete my account, read what will be deleted, and confirm.
It happens right away.
Without the app
Email lukas@usehandle.app with the subject “Delete my Handle account”. Tell us your name and your crew’s name and, if you’re an owner, the email you sign in with. If you’re crew, we may check with the crew’s owner that it’s you. We delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and write back when it’s done.
What’s deleted
If you’re crew
- Your name and your face (the drawing or your selfie).
- Your sign-in, and the push tokens of your phones.
What stays: the photos and words you added stay with the crew’s jobs, because they are the business’s record of the work. They show as “Former member”, with no name or face.
If you’re the owner
- The whole crew: the business name and logo, every job, every photo and word.
- Every member’s access to the crew, and every invite.
- Your name, face and sign-in. If you signed in with Apple, Handle’s access to your Apple ID is revoked.
How long anything is kept
Deleted data leaves our live systems right away, and any backup copies are gone within 30 days. Crash reports, which never include your name or photos, are deleted after 90 days. The usage events linked to your account are deleted with it.
Only some of your data
To remove certain photos without deleting your account, ask your crew’s owner, or email lukas@usehandle.app. More in our privacy policy.
