Handle is run by Lukasz Fryc (“we”, “us”). This policy covers this website: the pages about Handle, the demo you can try in your browser, and the early-access sign-up. Questions or requests: fryc.lukasz@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you ask for early access
Your email address, and what you choose to tell us in the form: your business name, the kind of work you do, how many people are on your team, and which phone you use. We also keep which button brought you to the form and, if you came from an ad or a link, the campaign details in that link (such as utm tags or a click id).
When you use the demo
Nothing you type, photograph or record in the demo is sent to us. It stays in your browser’s storage on your device, and you can clear it with your browser’s settings or the demo’s “Start over”.
When you visit
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, key buttons clicked (for example “Try the demo”), the page that sent you here, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. PostHog sets a cookie or local-storage id to tell visits apart.
To measure our ads, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API. They tell Meta that someone who saw or clicked our ad visited a page or signed up. For a sign-up we send Meta a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of your email address, your IP address, your browser’s user agent and Meta’s own cookie ids — never your email itself, your business details or anything from the demo.
How we use it
- To invite you when your early-access spot opens, and to email you about Handle.
- To learn which trades and team sizes Handle fits, and improve the product.
- To see which ads and pages work, so we spend less on the ones that don’t.
We don’t sell your personal information for money.
Who helps us
These companies process data for us, under their own terms and security:
- Vercel — hosts this website.
- PostHog — product analytics, stored in the United States.
- Meta Platforms — ad measurement, as described above.
- Our email provider — when we write to you.
Sharing data with Meta to measure and improve ads can count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out below.
Your choices
We also honor Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, we don’t load the Meta Pixel or send your sign-up to Meta. You can unsubscribe from our emails with the link in any of them.
Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, or the EU and UK), you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email fryc.lukasz@gmail.com and we’ll answer within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for asking.
How long we keep it
Early-access details are kept until you ask us to delete them or until the early-access program ends, whichever comes first. Analytics and ad-measurement data are kept only as long as needed to understand the site and our ads, then deleted or anonymized.
Children
Handle is for businesses. This site isn’t meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
When we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters for how we use data you already gave us, we’ll email you first.
